Today marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Nikolas Asimos. Asimos was a very important songwriter of the 1980’s. His work inspired among others Vasilis Papakonstantinou. Asimos was a marginal character and detested being famous, while he often had problems with the law. He led a troubled life and eventually commited suicide on March 17, 1988.
